PROGRESS REPORT ON THE CUSSLER EXPEDITION - Several have asked about the outcome of Clive Cussler's recent search for the remains of an early submarine by John Holland, one of Holland's FENIAN models, which Cussler and NUMA (National Underwater Maritime Agency) carried out from Fort Schuyler in early September.

According to Richard Miranda, the SUNY Maritime College Director of College Relations, Cussler and his team are in the process of analyzing the "miles" of side-scan sonar data that was produced by the September explorations, along with data from other instruments such as magnetometers.

Mr. Miranda expects that Cussler will return to the College in November to continue this underwater search.
